Dolcetto hails from Piedmont in Italy, and when made in the Macedon Ranges by Sierra Reed, you get cool climate combined with great winemaking delivering a smashable bold mix of blackberries, plums, dried herbs with this tiny little hint of liquorice.

Il Modo Sangrantino | Mildura, VIC

Hailing from the Campania region of Italy, Sangrantino grape works really well in the warmer climate of Australia making some spicy wines, with darker berries and is a great alternative to your usual medium-bodied Grenache Shiraz blends. Il Modo is crafted by Ray Nadeson (Lethbridge Wines, Between Five Bells). He has a background in Neuroscience, known for his work in creating pain relief medications. Well, that Sangrantino, in good measure, could perhaps cure your ailment and line up a good time with your loved ones. Such a delight!

THE HISTORY OF CAROLINE SPRINGS

The suburb of Caroline Springs is named after Caroline Chisholm, a 19th-century philanthropist who advocated for emigrant woman & families. Chisholm established a series a shelters along the route to Ballarat goldfields, now know as the Western Freeway, providing support to new arrivals. 

THE HISTORY OF LAKE CAROLINE

Lake Caroline, situated in the heart of Caroline Springs, is a man-made lake developed as part of the suburb’s master-planned community initiated in the early 2000s. Over time, Lake Caroline has become a central feature of Caroline Springs, offering a walking path & parklands.
